Early retirement at 62
With 40+ years of insurance, you can retire at 62 without reduction. Otherwise expect ~30% reduction for retiring 5 years early.
High earner, €80,000/year
Pensionable earnings capped at €6,500/month. With 40 years, contributory pension reaches 50% of €6,500 (~€3,250), plus the national pension (~€426), giving a total of ~€3,600-3,700/month.
Maximum pension cap
Law 4623/2019 caps total pension at €4,608/month regardless of earnings or contributions.
